Why I Launched The Medicine Cupboard

After 25 years as a pharmacist in both community and hospital settings, I kept seeing the same issue in Fulham. People often needed medicines quickly - in the evenings, on weekends, or at short notice - but local pharmacies were closed or didn’t have what they needed in stock. It became clear that SW6 needed a service that could get trusted pharmacy essentials to people fast, without compromising on safety or advice.

The Medicine Cupboard was born from that simple idea. I wanted to create a local, reliable option for the community - something that makes life easier when you’re unwell, busy, or caring for someone who needs support right away.

About Me

I’m Angela, a pharmacist with 25 years of experience working across community pharmacies and NHS hospitals. I grew up in Southfields in an Iranian family, and I’ve always valued the sense of community and care that came with it. That’s shaped the way I practice - calm, warm, and genuinely focused on helping people feel looked after.

Starting The Medicine Cupboard is my way of bringing that approach to the SW6 area. My aim is to offer fast, dependable access to everyday medicines, backed by proper pharmacy knowledge and a friendly local touch.

As the business grows, I hope to offer more personalised services, including direct pharmacy advice and support. For now, I’m focused on keeping things simple - quick access, trusted products, and a service built around the needs of the local community.
